What drives me to create
My approach to design lies within my passion for archiving the shared experiences within the communities I weave in and out of.
Whether through my independent art practice as an illustrator, or through carefully curated client print projects, I take the time to immerse myself in the stories being told through the imagery I use - developing thought provoking and playful designs.
I have 6 + years of experience in my field and find that there is no shortage of use for the ever growing toolkit I hold necessary for establishing a brand.
From 2015-2018 I spent my time organizing local art shows in Claremont and Pomona California as both a contributor of art, and through project management and logistics.
In 2018 I started my independent art hub Curious Publishing promoting the marginalized voices in my immediate community in Upland, CA. Soon after it’s inception, the viral branding caught wind of artists around the country. It continues to grow on multi media platforms online and through printed ephemera.
In 2021 I connected with Actually Curious, the conversation game that builds trust and empathy, as a Project manager developing their The Human Rights Edition. From a high level, I organized the production of this game by organizing focus groups, and consulting with copywriters to develop 52 questions which spark necessary conversations.
I wear many hats…
